Man Has People Cracking up With the Odd Way He Walks His Toy Poodle

If you're gonna get a dog, you have to be prepared about the many opinions people are going to have about how you care for them. Everything is up for discussion — including the truly outrageous leash that one man used to walk his Toy Poodle.

It's important to recall what a Toy Poodle looks like. They're small, they're fluffy, they're positively dainty. Now take a look at the leash the man used.

In the video shared online, the leash, which looked like a giant chain, attracted a lot of reactions from people passing by.

"Taking our dangerous boy for a walk," the video's onscreen caption reads.

"Hold your dog please, keep control of your dog!" joked one man as jogged by the Toy Poodle.

"Never seen a lead like that!" another woman explained.

"Is that a joke?" a third person wondered.

"That's literally a massive chain," one woman said in awe.

The chain is actually a product called the Beast Leash ($24.99), a lead that is meant to look ferocious — even if your dog is more of a sweetie pie.

The lead didn't just win over people on the street; people in the comments section were cracking up too. "He will grow into it," joked one person. "I love the first guy playing into the joke," someone else pointed out. "The chain is heavier than bro," a third person teased. "This is what public pranks should be. Nobody gets hurt, just bafflement and people have a story to tell," another commenter added.

Picking the Right Lead for Your Dog

Okay so maybe you're not exactly ready for all the attention that a Beast Leash might bring you. That's okay! There are plenty of other leashes out there. Although it can admittedly be hard to know which one to choose.

There is of course the standard dog leash, which usually is made from Nylon or leather and is used for everyday walks and training. Typically these leashes are between four and eight feet in length, although it is most advisable to get a six foot lead for everyday use.

Retractable dog leashes are another popular option. Retractable  leashes can range from four to 30 feet long and allow owners to give their dogs tons of freedom. However you do need to be aware of how your leash works so that your dog doesn't get rope burn or accidentally gets strangled.

Chain leashes can be helpful for dogs that tend to chew through their regular leashes. Just make sure that your dog understands it's made of metal or it could destroy their teeth.
