A man was arrested in China after allegedly “making it rain” from his 30th floor window while high on meth.

According to The Guardian, the incident occurred on Oct. 17 in Chongqing, in southwestern China, and was captured by a number of videos posted to social media.

When the 29-year-old benefactor was throwing the “heavenly rain of banknotes from the sky," traffic below slowed to a crawl and people left cars and blocked others to scoop the cash up from the road.

Police who took the man into custody said he was in a “in a trance” after ingesting an illicit substance.

The man is currently receiving treatment, the police said.
