MAFS' Olivia Frazer says "shit happens" as she reflects on Jackson split

Married At First Sight Australia star Olivia Frazer has spoken out about her split from Jackson Lonie.

The reality star duo broke things off back in August 2022, despite making it to the end of Married At First Sight Australia season 9 as a couple.

Looking back on what led to their split, Olivia has now revealed that "something changed" in their relationship.

While hosting Olivia was hosting a q&a session on her Instagram Stories, MAFS fans quizzed the reality star over the break-up.

"What's up with Jackson? You said it's love for life," one fan wrote.

"I get this question every time, every time," Olivia remarked. "Am I going to have to answer this when I'm married to someone else with kids and stuff?

"I'm sorry, but I said that when everything was good and he was treating me really nicely.

"Something changed and now it does not apply, like any relationship that you think is going to work."

Olivia went on to reveal that since her relationship with Jackson broke down, they have both managed to move on with their lives.

"Most people think their relationships are going to work when everything's good," she said. "Shit happens, things change, we all move on.

"He and I have been broken up longer than we were together. We're good. We've moved on."

Detailing the current status of her relationship with Jackson, Olivia recently opened up about the challenges of remaining friends following their split.

"To be fully transparent with it, we very much tried to maintain a friendship and be really good mates, and I think we still are," she told Yahoo. "It's just, to be honest, he hurts my feelings a lot.

"He's quite cold and it's really hard to go from being in a very loving relationship to trying to be friendly exes, and he's quite icy with me," she added.

Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
