Maeta will sing national anthem at IndyCar Series race in Indianapolis

Indianapolis native Maeta will sing the national anthem before the IndyCar Series race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Maeta recently topped the Billboard R&B chart and will tour with Chris Brown beginning in June.

“Having an Indianapolis native, whose career is just taking off, ensures this performance will be memorable for all involved," Speedway President J. Douglas Boles said in a news release.

Saturday's race coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
