STILLWATER, Okla. — Freshman Madison Booker scored 14 of her 19 points in the second half, Taylor Jones had a double-double, and No. 11 Texas pulled away for a 76-66 victory at Oklahoma State on Saturday, the 1,200th win for the Longhorns' program.

Up by four entering the fourth quarter, the Longhorns scored the first eight points and outscored the Cowgirls 19-13 in the final period.

Jones had 18 points and 14 rebounds, Aaliyah Moore had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Shaylee Gonzales had 15 points for Texas (18-2, 5-2 Big 12). Booker had six rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Anna Greta Asi scored 22 points for the Cowgirls (11-7, 4-3) on 8-of-10 shooting, hitting two 3-pointers in the last minute. Hannah Gusters added 14 points, and Lior Garzon had 11.

Gonzales, Booker and Jones had layups to open the final period, and Booker's two free throws made it 65-53. The lead stayed in double figures the rest of the way as Oklahoma State went 4-for-14 in the fourth quarter.

Texas made 14 of 24 shots in the second half and shot 53% from the field in the game as well as hitting 17 of 21 from the foul line. OSU made 7 of 20 3-pointers and shot 43% from the field.

Jones and Gonzales combined for 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting to help Texas take a 39-30 lead at the half. The Longhorns were plus-five in rebounding and turned 11 turnovers into 14 points. The 12-4 advantage in second-chance points and 8-for-11 free-throw shooting compared with 1-for-4 was the difference.

A three-point play by Shay Holle to start an 8-0 run that Jones ended with a three-point play gave Texas a 14-5 lead. Only once after that did the Cowgirls get it down to a one possession game before the break.

Booker got the first basket of the second half to put Texas on top 41-30, but Quincy Noble scored the first seven Oklahoma State points and Asi had a seven-point run. Asi's 3-pointer tied the game at 45 with about 5½ minutes to go in the third quarter. The Longhorns scored the next six and had a 57-53 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Next up for Texas is Oklahoma at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Moody Center.
