Madeline Degenhart voted Greer's Flooring America/C&P Student of the Week

This week's Greer's Flooring America/Courier & Press Student of the Week winner is from North High School.

Madeline Degenhart garnered 46 percent of the more than 7,200 votes cast at courierpress.com and on the Courier & Press app.

Here's what a North High School representative said about Degenhart in the nomination:

Madeline Degenhart is a North High School Summa Cum Laude senior while taking multiple Advanced Placement and Dual Credit classes throughout high school. Madeline is a member of the Speech team, and will be attending the University of Missouri this fall where she will be studying Broadcast Journalism. She is a member of the Huskette dance team and went to Nationals, received 3rd place at State in Broadcasting with the Speech team, and placed 1st in TV News Anchor for the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters. Madeline is also a member of the National Honor Society.
