Here is a look at the 2024 Shreveport Times All-Area high school baseball team.
The team covers schools from Bienville, Claiborne, DeSoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster parishes based on top performances by the athletes in the region.
Coach of the Year
Tony Sanders
Glenbrook
Why selected: A former Louisiana Tech standout, Sanders led his team to the LHSAA Select Division IV state championship game and a 16-11 overall record.
Pitcher of the Year
Ross Lindsey
Natchitoches Central, Jr.
Why selected: The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Alabama commitment was 5-2 in 51.2 innings with 86 strikeouts and a 2.17 ERA.
Player of the Year
Easton Sanders
Glenbrook, Jr.
Why selected: The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Louisiana Tech commitment was 9-2 for the state runner-up with a 1.49 ERA and 95 strikeouts along with hitting .412 with 15 RBIs, 29 runs while being walked 40 times.

Tyler Hughes
Red River, Sr.
Why selected: The Centenary signee had 43 hits with a .448 batting average with two home runs and 31 RBIs in 32 games. Hughes also posted a 1.50 ERA with 89 strikeouts in 55.2 innings.
Athlete of the Year
Blayne McFerren
North DeSoto, Sr.
Why selected: The Louisiana Monroe signee hit .442 with four home runs, 22 RBIs and 37 runs.
Coach of the Year

Why selected: The BPCC signee hit .467 with 32 RBIs and 24 runs while posting a 2.14 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 57 innings.
Tuffy Cutrer

Why selected: Cutrer was 9-2 on the mound with a 1.35 ERA and 85 strikeouts against 21 walks.
Adam Guillet
Natchitoches Central, Jr.
Why selected: The 6-4, 200-pound Louisiana Tech commit had a 1.91 ERA in 29.1 innings with 50 strikeouts and a 3-2 record.
Peyton Gray
Lakeside, Jr.
Why selected: Gray hit .405 with 10 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.
Luke Delafield
North DeSoto, So.
Why selected: Delafield hit .446 with 12 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
Reni Mason
North DeSoto, Jr.
Why selected: Mason hit .407 with five home runs, 30 RBIs, 20 walks and 23 runs scored.
Landry Powell

Why selected: Powell hit .426 with eight doubles, a home run and 20 RBIs.
Trevor McLendon

Why selected: The speedy centerfielder hit .390 with a home run, 22 RBIs and 39 stolen bases.
Gage Shepherd

Why selected: The 6-foot-3 Champion Christian College commit hit .565 with 17 RBIs while posting 105 strikeouts in 49 innings.
Noah Spears
Doyline, Jr.
Why selected: The 6-7 pitcher is being recruited by Northwestern after posting a 1.400 ERA with 101 strikeouts in 75 innings. He also hit .394 with four home runs.
Brooks Boudreaux
Converse, Sr.
Why selected: Boudreaux hit .442 with 20 RBIs, 25 runs and was the two-time District 3-B MVP.
Bryson Ranger

Why selected: Ranger hit .409 with 18 RBIs, three triples and 18 walks.
