M&M’s Just Secretly Revealed Its Super Bowl Commercial—Here’s Your Sneak Peek
Super Bowl weekend is almost here, and we’re already starting to get our snack stadiums ready. While we can’t wait to see the Chiefs face off against the Buccaneers, we’re almost more excited about one of our favorite parts of the Super Bowl broadcast—the commercials! Some brands are skipping the ads this year, but America’s favorite candy, M&M’s, has already released a sneak peek of their spot.
What Can We Expect to See?
The ad spot, titled “Come Together,” takes us through a series of unfortunate scenarios that are resolved with a packet of M&M’s. Situations include kicking the seat of the passenger in front of you (remember when air travel was a thing?), a gender reveal gone wrong and an apology for mansplaining.
The ad also features Dan Levy, fresh off his Schitt’s Creek wins, in his first-ever Super Bowl commercial!
Channeling the perfect comedic timing that made David, well, David, the actor says, “One of the things I loved most about this campaign was the message about how something small—like sharing M&M’S—can help bring people together.”
We can’t help but agree, because while saying “I’m sorry” goes a long way, we’re not gonna lie—a packet of White Cheesecake M&M’s would earn our forgiveness a LOT faster.
When Will This Air?
M&M’s released the 30-second spot in a special virtual reveal on February 3. If you missed it, you can watch a replay on February 5 on all of M&M’s social media channels. You can also catch the full spot during the first commercial break following the kickoff of Super Bowl LV, which will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
