Lupita Nyong’o is back at the Oscars, and she made her return with a bang.

The Little Monsters star glided across the red carpet at Los Angeles's Dolby Theatre looking dreamy in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown. The beautiful silk embroidered centerpiece featured a plunging V-neckline, crystal bead embellishments throughout, and pale blue feathers at the peplum waist and hem, all in a lovely powder blue. She paired the frock with layers of diamonds, in the form of a stack of dainty bracelets, a ring decorated with two diamond studs, and diamond drop earrings. As for glam, Nyong’o looked radiant in glowy makeup complete with a berry lip and shimmery eyeshadow.

Although Nyong’o is not up for a nomination tonight, she is among an A-list group of presenters. The star-studded roster includes the likes of Zendaya, Michelle Yeoh, Emily Blunt, America Ferrera, Ryan Gosling, Ariana Grande, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Al Pacino, Octavia Spencer, Anya Taylor-Joy, and many others.

The Black Panther actor holds one Academy Award. She took home Best Supporting Actress in 2014 for her role in 12 Years a Slave (which is also her only Oscar nomination). Over the years, Nyong’o has opted in and out of the ceremony, attending in 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2022. However, every time she does step out for Hollywood's biggest night, she brings her sartorial best. During her last appearance at the 94th Academy Awards, she looked utterly breathtaking in a yellow-gold sequined Prada gown adorned with dazzling pink floral embellishments and gilded streamer details.

While Nyong’o has skipped most of the award shows in this year’s circuit, she did show off her glamorous red-carpet style last month at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, for which she served as President of the International Jury. At the time, she looked gorgeous in a black Boss gown that featured a thigh-high slit, an asymmetrical halter neckline, and shiny gold and silver sequins and beads that formed illustrative, whimsical patterns all over.
