Luka Doncic injury update: Dallas Mavericks star dealing with right knee soreness

It's been Luka Doncic's world during the NBA playoffs, but now he's in a world of hurt.

The first-team All-NBA superstar has been beat up throughout the postseason, leading to some questions about his availability throughout the offseason.

While Doncic gutted his way through a number of injuries in the Dallas Mavericks' series win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals, those ailments have followed him and the Mavericks into the Western Conference finals vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Here's what to know the Dallas star's status ahead of Game 3 vs. Minnesota on Sunday night:

Is Luka Doncic playing tonight?

Ahead of the Mavericks-Timberwolves Game 3 matchup, Doncic is listed as "questionable" as he deals with soreness in his left knee. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said that Doncic would go through pregame warmups to see if he can give it a go in the matchup.

Doncic, though, would be cleared to play in the hour leading up to the matchup.

Kidd also mentioned that Doncic was dealing with soreness in his sprained right knee.

Previously, Doncic was listed as "probable" with the same knee sprain and also left ankle soreness.

Doncic was seen on the court warming up ahead of their matchup with the Timberwolves (8 p.m. ET tip off).
