LSU women's basketball at Coppin State: Live updates for Angel Reese's homecoming game

It's Angel Reese's homecoming.

LSU women's basketball is headed to Baltimore and will match up with Coppin State, for Reese's first collegiate game in her hometown at either Maryland or LSU, Wednesday night (5 p.m., ESPN+).

Coppin State has announced the game has been sold out as Reese will have ample family and friends in the building as well as countless fans of hers in attendance because of her ties to the city.

The contest likely won't be close as Coppin State is 3-9 on the season and has lost six straight games.

No. 7 LSU (11-1) has won 11 consecutive games and don't look now, but Reese, after being away from the team for four games, has recorded four double-doubles in a row, most recently a 25 point, 14 rebound performance in the Tigers' 81-36 victory over Northwestern State at home Sunday afternoon.

Reese and freshman center Aalyah Del Rosario are 6-4 and 6-5, respectively, but LSU boasts biggers guards in freshman MiKaylah Williams and sophomore sensation Flau'jae Johnson at 6-0 and 5-10.
