LSU baseball live score updates vs South Carolina from SEC Baseball Tournament

Don't let the Tigers get hot.

LSU baseball has stormed into the third round of the winners bracket of the SEC Baseball Tournament after blasting two grand slams in an 11-0 victory over Kentucky in the second round Wednesday morning.

Winners of 16 of their last 21 games, the No. 11 Tigers (38-20) have won back-to-back contests at the Hoover Metropolitan and will now lock horns with No. 10 South Carolina (35-21) on Thursday (4:30 p.m., SEC Network).

LSU star Tommy White and Jared Jones each hit grand slams yesterday, giving the Tigers four grand slams on the season and became the first team in SEC Tournament history to hit two in a single game. White has hit two grand slams in his last three games.

The Gamecocks have won both of their first two games in Hoover, beating No. 7 Alabama, 10-5, Tuesday before holding off a ninth-inning rally from No. 2 Arkansas on Wednesday afternoon with a 6-5 victory.
