Love Lies Bleeding star Katy O'Brian joins Mission: Impossible 8
Love Lies Bleeding's Katy O'Brian has been cast in Mission: Impossible 8.
Deadline was the first to break the news, although nothing is known about her character at the time of writing.
O'Brian joins fellow Mission newcomers Holt McCallany (The Iron Claw), Nick Offerman (Civil War) and Hannah Waddingham (The Fall Guy) in Tom Cruise's eighth outing as Ethan Hunt, following last year's Dead Reckoning.

Already boasting credits in The Mandalorian as Elia Kane and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Jentorra, 2024 is shaping up to be O'Brian's biggest year to date with both Love Lies Bleeding and Twisters coming out.
Discussing her sex scenes with Kristen Stewart in the Rose Glass revenge thriller, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January, the actress recently told PEOPLE: "It's just so not glamorous, and it's really not that sexy when you're doing it.
"I mean, first of all, you've got a boom-mic guy that's got his microphone hovering over you while it's all happening."

O'Brian went on to add: "We stick with the script for those scenes, because with intimate scenes there's massive approvals that go into everything. If anything changes, we have to go back and sign more paperwork. We just had to approve it all ahead of time."
Apparently, the New Mexico heat even affected the performers taking off their clothes for the intimate moments.
"Every time Kristen would pull the pants off, everything would just pull right off. We feel sweaty and gross, and we just hope that we're not stinky and everything. It doesn't feel as sexy in the moment," she said.
Mission: Impossible 8 will be released on May 23, 2025.
