Love Island's Camilla and Jamie announce third child's birth

Love Island stars Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt have announced the birth of their third child.

Sharing the news in a joint post on Instagram, the reality stars posted a series of snaps from the newborn's first few days and confirmed the baby boy's name.

"And just like that.. we are a family of 5," the caption read. "Meet baby Brodie. 12.38pm 8th May 6lb15oz."

The image carousel included snaps from Camilla's water birth as well as photos of their two daughters Nell and Nora meeting their new brother.

Jamie and Camilla were inundated with messages from friends and followers, who were all quick to share their congratulations with the couple.

"Best love story of love Island ever, congratulations," one person wrote, while Laura Anderson added: "Yayyyyy well done mumma you superstar."

Camilla and Jamie first met during the 2017 series of ITV2 dating show Love Island and have become one of the programme's biggest success stories, welcoming daughter Nell in October 2020 and getting married a year later.

The couple also have daughter Nora, who was born in 2022, before announcing they were expecting a son in December last year.

They announced the news with an adorable post on Instagram, which featured Nell dressed as a teacher and pretending to teach her younger sister about boys, as well as confirming Camilla's due date as May 2024.

Meanwhile, Camilla recently received praise from followers regarding a candid post which reminded parents that babies reach key milestones at their own pace.

"So I just wanted to share that whilst the nature of social media means you might constantly see babies meeting milestones, you really aren't alone if they're not, and it doesn't mean there aren't other mums and dads out there in a similar situation to you," she wrote.

"I don't share so many of those moments with Nora and it's not because she's our second child, it is simply because we haven't shared those moments in real life yet. She's very much on her own timeframe for everything."
