Love of high school yearbook class steered Cultivate Creative owner to graphic design

LANCASTER − Cultivate Creative owner Angela Eldridge loved her high school yearbook class.

"I fell in love with layout design in yearbook class and decided that if you can make a living doing this, that's what I want to do," she said. "I've always loved art. So I majored in graphic design in school and it's gone from there. That was the start for me and I still love it."

Cultivate Creative owner Angela Eldridge recently moved her graphic design business to a new downtown office at 125 W. Wheeling St. She's shown here with daughter, Azalea and son, Leo.

Eldridge does graphic design, web design, website postings, social media management and some marketing planning. Her clients are based throughout the country, but Eldridge said she'd like to established some more local clients.

She recently opened a new downtown office after working from home since 2016.

"I just want to serve small businesses and non-profits in the area better," Eldridge said. "I thought what better way to do that than to open an office space in the downtown. It's been wonderful to be a part of the downtown community and I really appreciate all the support of the businesses around me."

She said she particularly enjoys creating annual reports for clients.

"Because they're just a big story you get to tell visually," Eldridge said. "It's still a yearbook."
