Love Is Blind Season 5 Trailer: A Couple’s Age Gap Is Called Into Question — Watch
Netflix has released the full trailer for Season 5 of the reality dating series Love Is Blind, and we’re officially rooting for the loved ones of this year’s cast.
In the full-length sneak peek, which you can check out above, one participant’s family member questions the age gap in a contestant’s relationship.
“I was just curious what someone 30 [years old] would be interested in a 24-year-old,” she ponders in the video.
Another relative quips, “It’s phony.”
The first four episodes of Season 5 will arrive on Friday, Sept. 22. Episodes 5-7 will drop on Sept. 29, followed by Episodes 8-9 on Oct. 6 and the finale wedding ceremonies on Oct. 13.
Upcoming episodes find a new group of singles taking to the pods in Houston, TX to find love. “As the experiment continues to expand, each participant’s individual journey, emotional growth, and ability to embrace a new approach to dating is key — whether they find love outwardly or within,” the official synopsis reads.
The streamer promises the “most shocking season yet,” with participants set to face “new challenges, unexpected twists, and surprising turns that will test their personal resolve, and the strength of their connections, more than ever before.”
What’s New on Streaming
After getting to know each other in the pods, each pairing will choose to get engaged without first meeting in person. The newly engaged couples will then live together and plan their nuptials over several weeks, also deciding whether their bond is strong enough to survive in the real world.
