Megan Fox reacts to ‘Love Is Blind’ contestant Chelsea Blackwell's look-alike comments

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Season Six of "Love Is Blind."

Megan Fox is addressing the viral look-alike comments from Season Six of "Love Is Blind" and defending star Chelsea Blackwell.

During Season Six, which premiered Feb. 14, Chelsea said she gets told “all the time” that she looks like the actor.

More than a month after the "Love Is Blind" Season Six reunion, Fox told "E! News" that in regards to Chelsea's comments, she's "never had more people text me about something."

"I’ve had a lot of people text me and stop me," she said in an interview published April 14. "Even other celebrities at like, Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch 'Love is Blind'? And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about.’”

Fox said she has seen a picture of Chelsea and sees where the contestant is coming from.

“A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox.’ So I believe she’s telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her," Fox said.

In February, Chelsea said she regrets the comments, adding that she reached out to Fox directly to apologize after swift backlash.

Fox did not address Chelsea's apology but said "no one deserves to get bullied."

“I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard," Fox said.

What did Chelsea Blackwell say about Megan Fox on 'Love Is Blind?

On Season Six of the show, Chelsea, a flight attendant, says she gets told "all the time" that she looks like the actor when on flights. "It's just because I have dark hair and blue eyes," she says. "But I don't see it, so don't get excited."

"I don't even know if it's (Machine Gun Kelly's) wife or his fiancée," she says, not mentioning Fox's name, instead allowing Jimmy to fill in the blank. "You're saying you look like Megan Fox?" Jimmy says, smiling. She continues, "It's only because I have light eyes and dark hair."

Jimmy seems excited about this comparison, asking, "Can we get married?" Fans, online, seemed to think this was a "deciding factor" for him.

How Jimmy Presnell reacted when he saw Chelsea Blackwell for the first time

When Jimmy and Chelsea eventually get engaged and he comes face-to-face with his fiancée, he doesn't quite agree with her assessment. In fact, the episode title — "She Lied to Me" — is a direct quote of Jimmy's.

"She definitely lied to me about some, uh, how she looked. Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. I am very attracted to her. I can work with that," he tells the camera.

Sitting side-by-side after their first meeting, Jimmy tells Chelsea she was “gorgeous.” She asks if she was what he expected. “Um, you told me a thousand things," he says.

The internet exploded at the comparison

Online, viewers recall the moment that "Love Is Blind" Season Four cast member Zack Goytowski told his short-lived fiancée Irina Solomonova she looked like Megan Fox.

"Another season of selling the Megan Fox fantasy in the pods," one X user wrote.

Viewers questioned Chelsea's strategy, and that comparing yourself to Megan Fox was raising the bar too high.

"Even if I been told a million times that I looked like Megan Fox…I ain’t no Megan Fox. That sets the bar to a level ain’t nobody reaching….and now everybody gonna be disappointed," one X user wrote.

Jimmy's reaction to Chelsea is also under scrutiny, with people wondering what it bodes for the rest of their relationship.

Chelsea Blackwell says she apologized to Megan Fox

During a Feb. 22 interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Chelsea said she contacted Fox after her comments went viral.

“I did reach out to her (Fox), and I was like, ‘I’m so sorry I did this to you,’” Chelsea said, adding that she hasn’t heard back from Fox. “I’m just waiting for Megan to respond.”

On Feb. 19, Chelsea also spoke out about her comments on the show in a viral TikTok she made.

She said, “This would be a great time for the people who have ever told me that I resembled her to come forward.”

While laughing, she added, “Please, I’m begging you.”

Chelsea captioned the clip, “Will the real megan fox please stand up.”
