Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has appointed a growth and development leader for G-Unit studios in Shreveport.

The expansion of G-Unit in Shreveport is expected to set a milestone for the region. 50 Cent entered into an agreement with the City of Shreveport to lease the city-owned production studio at 300 Douglas Street for 30 years at a yearly rate of $2,400. The revitalization of Millennium Studios is expected to have a cascading effect on job creation, attracting talent to the area and contributing to the overall economic resurgence of Shreveport.

A Thibodaux family's camping tradition placed them on the Family Feud stage. They had to send in an audition tape first and took the family three tries but persistence paid off. The family will competed Wednesday, May 22nd, and will return for another episode in September.

The doughnut giant is offering customers a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for $3.84 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price from Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27, the company said in a news release Tuesday.
