Who did Jim Harbaugh, Chargers pick in 2024 NFL draft? Every Chargers selection taken in Day 1

After leading Michigan to its first national championship title in over 25 years, Jim Harbaugh is back in the NFL and building a roster through the draft once again.

From Michigan fans' perspective, this year's NFL draft is an intriguing one for several reasons. The Wolverines, who have 18 eligible players in their 2024 class, also have a legitimate chance of breaking Georgia's NFL draft record of 15 players taken in one draft.

The other reason to watch this week's draft relates to the team's former coach, and whether Harbaugh — now coach of the Los Angeles Chargers — drafts one of his former players. In fact, several NFL draft analysts are predicting the NFL coach will.

NFL.com's Chad Reuter believes Harbaugh will draft his former running back Blake Corum in the second round after the Chargers did not re-sign Austin Ekeler this offseason. Like Reuter, The Athletic's Dane Brugler predicts Corum to be drafted by the Chargers. He also predicts Harbaugh will take three more Wolverines in defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (second round), guard Trevor Keegan (sixth) and linebacker Michael Barrett Jr. (seventh).

Meanwhile, Chargers Wire's Alex Katson predicts the Chargers to take linebacker Junior Colson in the third round.

Only time will tell if Harbaugh (and his Michigan staff members who followed him to the NFL) will draft one of their own as he looks to rebuild a Chargers team that has underperformed in recent years with star quarterback Justin Herbert.
