Lori Harvey Responds to Criticism About 'Tomb Raider' Halloween Costume

Lori Harvey's fans hold her to a high standard when it comes to Halloween.
This year, the model and entrepreneur opted for a Halloween costume that was a bit more minimal than fans are used to seeing.
Harvey, 26, shared photos of her costume to Instagram earlier this week, showing off her transformation into Lara Croft from the video game franchise Tomb Raider.
Keeping things simple with a black sleeveless top and little black shorts, Harvey added a holster belt, two toy guns as props, and styled her hair in a long braid, just like Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider film installments.
But even though she still looked fierce, Harvey's fans were disappointed to see her take on a more simple costume, which she modeled in front of a blank white wall in the pics.
"D for effort girl," one of her followers wrote in the comments.
"Not you just throwing us a costume saying 'here..' lmao 😂😂" another fan wrote.
"How we went from Beyoncé last year to this?😩," someone else wondered, to which Harvey actually replied, letting her fans know that she just didn't have the energy to go all out this year.
"girl I was tired this year 😭🤣," she wrote in response to the comment.
Fans seemed to appreciate the honesty, as we all know putting together a killer costume year after year can get tiring.
"You are so real for that 😂🔥" one fan wrote to Harvey after her confession, while someone else hyped her up by commenting, "It was still cute!!!!!! You made it work."
It looks like fans will have to wait until next year to see if Harvey will once again pull out all of the stops with her Halloween costume.
