Following a sustainable lifestyle is something we should all strive for, and it looks different for each individual. Some eco-friendly habits are easier than others, like ditching plastic for reusable bags versus renovating your home to achieve LEED certification. But for years now, the Hearst team—sitting in our own LEED-certified headquarters in Manhattan—has been trying to find ways to make sustainable living as accessible as possible for anyone who's interested and willing to make sustainable choices.

At House Beautiful, that typically means searching year-round for ways to make your home as green as it is gorgeous. But this year for Earth Day, we're collaborating with other Hearst Magazines publications that you know and love—Veranda, ELLE Decor, Good Housekeeping, Town & Country—and renowned industry professionals to spotlight specific innovations and sustainable solutions for a healthy planet at The Hearst Eco-Conscious Living virtual summit. This inspiring and informative livestream will occur on Friday, April 26 at 12 p.m. EST, and there's no registration necessary to join. All you need to do is come back to this website before the start time to learn as much as you can about the circular economy, to regenerative farming, to deforestation, and other topics.

House Beautiful's very own market director and director of special projects, Carisha Swanson, along with Laura E. Kohler, the chief sustainable living officer at Kohle, will speak on eco-friendly design practices. Meanwhile, Steele Marcoux (editor-in-chief of Veranda) will share how circular design can work at home, Laurie Jennings (general manager at Good Housekeeping Institute) will discuss wasteful habits and how to ditch them, and Adam Rathe (deputy features director at Town & Country) will talk with Broadway star Anika Larsen and former stage manager Molly Braverman—both advocates for sustainability—on how the theater can be more environmentally responsible.

Set a reminder and mark your calendars now to check back here at 12 p.m. EST on Friday, April 26th to catch all this extremely helpful information that will help you better the earth. However, if you can't catch the livestream right at noon, you can join in at any time to watch the rest of the conversations unfold. If there are any panels that you missed or want to watch again, you can go straight to individual topics as well as screen the entire summit on demand here in the Summit Library.
