Enjoy arts, crafts, music and more at MacBeach Nature Fest at MacArthur Beach State Park, see (and purchase) beautiful works of art during 11th Annual Plein Air Festival at the Lighthouse ArtCenter, listen to Syabrite5 at the Norton Museum of Art.
In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County's waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. 1. Screen on the Green featuring 'Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken'
Kick back along the West Palm Beach waterfront and watch this animated feature about teenage sea kraken Ruby Gillman, who is struggling to fit in at her high school while simultaneously wrestling with her ancestral destiny to reign as warrior queen. Featuring the voices of Lana Condor, Toni Collette, Will Forte and Jane Fonda.

2. Plein Air Festival at the Lighthouse ArtCenter
This event will feature 35 award-winning artists from all over the country coming together to compete and capture local scenes through painting "en plein air" or "in the open air." There will be free artists demonstrations, workshops and, of course, newly-created art for sale.
Though the event kicked off on March 3, it continues through Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. 373 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta. Free. Information: lighthousearts.org/pleinair
3. MacBeach Nature Fest: An Outdoor Festival
MacArthur Beach State Park's annual festival will feature local artisans, environmental exhibitions, live music by The Leafy Greens, Florida native plant vendors, an animal show from Busch Wildlife Center, kayaking, paddleboarding and much more.
The event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 9. 10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach. Free with admission. Information: macarthurbeach.org/events-calendar
4. Norton Museum of Art presents Sybarite5
Performing music with roots in classical, rock, jazz, hiphop, Armenian folk and the avant-garde, Sybarite5 creates an incredibly unique concert experience. Their performance will feature works by John Coltrane, Radiohead, Xavier Foley, Komitas, The Punch Brothers, Pedro Giraudo, Marc Mellits, Jessica Meyer, Kenji Bunch, Shawn Conley, Aleksandra Vrebalov, and more.
The concert is 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10. $35, members $15. Space limited, advance ticket purchase recommended. Information: norton.org/events/concert
5. South Florida Food Fest & Craft Fair
This inaugural, family-friendly, two-day event will feature over two dozen food trucks and restaurants, beverages, one-of-a-kind craft fair shopping with wares from 75 local crafters, artists, specialty artisans, and small businesses and six of the area's hottest bands delivering live music. A few of these include: Blood Moon Mafia and Airplane Möde. There will also be ax throwing, face painting and more.
The event is noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 9 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 10. South County Regional Park, 20405 Amphitheater Circle, Boca Raton. One-day tickets $10, two-day $15, children 10 and younger free. Information: eventbrite.com/e/south-florida-food-fest-and-craft-fair-2024
Bonus: Flamingo Park 16th Garden Tour
Hosted by the Flamingo Park Neighborhood Association, the tour features 10 lush, tropical gardens throughout the historic West Palm Beach neighborhood.
