Look: Zach, Julie Ertz Announce Major Personal News

Zach and Julie Ertz have been together for nearly a decade, and married for five years this March. Now, sports’ favorite power couple is celebrating another milestone; as they prepare to have their first child.

On Monday, the Cardinals tight end shared the announcement via his Twitter account.

“Adding to our starting lineup… Baby Ertz!” the three-time Pro Bowler tweeted along with a pair of pregnancy photos. Tapping Psalm 30:11-12: “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, … I will give you thanks forever!”

Fans congratulated the two across social media.

“My heart is so happy for you guys,” one user replied.

“Congrats Ertz!” a Cardinals fan commented.

“Congrats to Zach and Julie Ertz!” tweeted NBC Sports’ John Clark. “They have had very hectic lives with NFL & USA soccer schedules. They are starting a family.”

“Well if this isn’t the best news ever!” said Jamie Apody.
