Tom Brady and Tyrann Mathieu shared some words for each other during the Super Bowl, but it appears they’ve squashed any beef between them.

On Wednesday, Brady posted a video on his social media accounts for his doubters. It included several hot takes before the 2020 season that said the legendary quarterback would struggle to win games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Those predictions aged terribly considering he won the Super Bowl.

Brady’s video immediately became an internet sensation, as current and former players showed their support for the seven-time Super Bowl champion. Believe it or not, Mathieu was among those expressing appreciation for Brady’s accomplishments.

Despite their minor scuffle at the Super Bowl earlier this month, Mathieu commented on Brady’s video with the flexing emoji.

This is a much different tune from the comments Mathieu made right after the Super Bowl.

“Listen, Tom Brady’s a great quarterback. I never really saw that side of Tom Brady, to be honest,” Mathieu said. “But whatever. No comment. it’s over with. I’m done with it.”

Brady did send a lengthy apology to Mathieu regarding the incident that transpired on the field. It’s unclear what was said in that text message, but it clearly worked.

It’s great to see there’s no more bad blood between Brady and Mathieu – at least for now.
