During Capital One’s The Match press conference on Tuesday, Tom Brady couldn’t help but take a subtle jab at Aaron Rodgers.

Brady and Rodgers will soon compete against each other, but not on the gridiron. The two will battle it out at Capital One’s The Match. Brady will be paired up with Phil Mickelson while Rodgers will play with Bryson DeChambeau.

This won’t be the first time Brady and Rodgers duel it out this year. The two went toe-to-toe in the 2021 NFC Championship Game. Brady got the best of Rodgers in a 31-26 shootout.

The Buccaneers quarterback couldn’t help but remind Rodgers how that game played out during Tuesday’s press conference. He poked fun at the Packers’ decision to kick a field goal, rather than try and score a touchdown, on a fourth-down play in the fourth quarter.

“I do think [Aaron] would like to ‘go for It’ a little more often than he has in the past,” Brady said, via Bleacher Report.

Take a look.

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t even bothered by what Tom Brady had to say. He actually gave a pretty hilarious response.

“Well usually I don’t have the option,” Rodgers responded, indicating he doesn’t have much control of the Packers offense.

It certainly looks like Rodgers hasn’t let go of his Packers hate just yet. The veteran quarterback has made it clear he doesn’t want to play in Green Bay any longer.

Brady, meanwhile, continues to be pretty good in the trash-talking department. He can’t help but remind Rodgers about the 2021 NFC Championship. And we don’t think he’s going to live it down anytime soon.
