The NFL Players Association agreed to a 20-percent decrease in salary cap. NFL franchises, meanwhile, have significantly increased in value over the past year. See the problem? Tom Brady does.

Forbes published a story on Thursday highlighting the current value of NFL franchises compared to last year. The story noted how the average value of each franchise increased by 14 percent. Brady isn’t necessarily happy about it.

Brady blasted the NFLPA in an Instagram story on Thursday. The Buccaneers quarterback said the NFLPA “better wake up” for making a bad deal in regards to the salary cap within the NFL for the 2021 season.

“The salary cap dropped by 20% …and the new media deals were announced the day AFTER 2021 salary cap was set…NFL players better wake up @nflpa,” Brady said on Instagram. “NFL players are IGNORANT.”

Tom Brady’s right. The NFLPA’s latest round of negotiations with the NFL didn’t go well and it’s going to hurt the players in the process. If more players like Brady speak out, perhaps a change will commence.

This isn’t the first time Brady has called out the NFLPA. Back in May of this year, he encouraged the NFLPA to have “very intense negotiations” with the NFL and its coaches to try and modify offseason workout rules.

“There’s no f—ing pro baseball player that’s throwing 95 miles per hour in mid-December,” Brady said, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

Brady is once again getting involved in the NFLPA’s latest actions. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not he can influence change.
