Aaron Rodgers‘ fiancee had a telling retweet this week.

Shailene Woodley, who’s been engaged to the Green Bay Packers quarterback for several months, retweeted a message from ESPN NFL insider Stephen A. Smith.

In the video retweeted by the Hollywood actress, Smith sends a clear message about the situation with Rodgers.

“This is proof of what I’ve been talking about for months. It’s not about football. It’s not just about the money,” Smith said.

“This is about the way the Green Bay Packers have treated their star player. They have disregarded him, they have dismissed him, they have minimized him, they’ve disrespected him. And he said, ‘Bump y’all, enough is enough.’”

Woodley retweeted Smith’s message this week.

Rodgers is rumored to have demanded a trade out of Green Bay. He did not report to voluntary OTAs or mandatory minicamp. It’s unclear if he plans on reporting to training camp later this month.

Earlier this week, ESPN reported that Rodgers had declined a major contract extension offer:

The deal, sources said, would have tied the reigning MVP to the Packers for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid quarterback and player in football.

Sources told Schefter in April that Rodgers does not want to return to the team because of issues he has with management. Despite his stance, the Packers have remained adamant that they will not trade the three-time MVP.

The Packers are scheduled to begin training camp on July 28.
