Look: Russell Westbrook’s Wife Disgusted With Lakers Fans
Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook has received a lot of criticism for his play this season. But it’s reached a point where his wife is fed up with Lakers fans.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Nina Westbrook railed against fans for sending her “obscenities and death wishes.” She said that she’s being harassed daily as a result of how the season has gone.
“When I’m being harassed on a daily basis over basketball games, and I’m having obscenity’s and death wishes for me and my family sent my way because you’re expressing your “truth”, it’s hard for me to get on board with that,” Westbrook wrote.
Nina Westbrook has found no shortage of support on Twitter. Plenty of people are joining her in calling out all of the fans who would threaten her or her family over basketball games.

“So sorry to hear this, I swear it’s sad how people have to threaten someone over a sport especially basketball…” one fan replied.
“WOW, I agree. You can hate his BASKETBALL game, but don’t EVER get personal or attack his wife or kids or family. There is lines that should NEVER be crossed. Have some class, respect and dignity. I pray for those who say hateful things in hopes they change their ways,” wrote another.
“Stay strong Nina – you are amazing. Best wishes to you and the family!” a third wrote.
The Lakers got back on track with a big win over the Golden State Warriors over the weekend. Russell Westbrook had 20 points in the win.
But their playoff hopes are still hanging in the balance with less than 20 games to go…
