A photo of a sad Ohio State Buckeyes football fan is going viral on social media following the team’s upset loss to Oregon on Saturday.

Saturday was a tough day for all of Buckeye Nation.

Ohio State, the No. 3 team in the country, was upset at home by No. 12 Oregon. The Buckeyes fell behind the Ducks early and were never able to recover. Mario Cristobal’s team had control of the game from start to finish.

The Buckeyes played in front of a sold-out home crowd for the first time in two years, but were unable to deliver a win.

“It was everything we thought it would be,” Ryan Day said of the home crowd. “We are very disappointed we were not able to pull out the victory for everybody who came today. It was a great crowd. I felt like it was a game we were never really in control of. They ran the ball and we did not do a very good job of running the ball. Because of that, they kind of controlled the game.”

One Ohio State football fan appeared to take the loss harder than the rest.

Hopefully that fan is feeling a little better on Sunday morning.
