It didn’t take long for Matt LaFleur to find his new offensive coordinator.

The Green Bay Packers lost former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett to the Denver Broncos where he’ll be their next head coach. LaFleur immediately looked in-house to replace the position.

The Packers made it official on Monday morning: Adam Stenavich is the Packers’ new offensive coordinator.

“The Green Bay Packers have promoted Adam Stenavich to offensive coordinator,” the team announced. “Head Coach Matt LaFleur made the announcement Monday.”

Packers standout offensive lineman David Bakhtiari reacted to the news just moments ago:

“Well deserved,” Bakhtiari said. “So happy for Steno and his family.”

David Bakhtiari’s season came to an unfortunate end. He couldn’t suit up for the Packers in the Divisional Round battle against the San Francisco 49ers, a game Green Bay went on to lose.

The Packers now have several questions they need to address this offseason. The first revolves around Aaron Rodgers’ future. The second surrounds Green Bay’s salary-cap dilemma.

Rodgers returning to Green Bay next season would be a massive win for Matt LaFleur and Co. Perhaps Stenavich’s promotion will do the trick.
