Look: NFL Teams Release Joint Practice Schedule
In recent years more and more NFL teams have begun conducting joint practices during training camp. This year, the practice is reaching new heights with two-thirds of the league participating in them.
On Monday, the NFL released the full schedule of teams slated to take part in joint practices this August. 23 teams are set to be a part of at least one.
15 total joint practices will be held between August 7 and 25. Five of those will be held on August 18 alone.
Several of them, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets, among others, will be taking part in multiple.
Here is the full schedule of joint practices this summer:
August 7: Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys
August 11: Denver Broncos at Minnesota Vikings
August 11: Miami Dolphins at Chicago Bears
August 12: Carolina Panthers at Indianapolis Colts
August 16: New England Patriots at Philadelphia Eagles
August 18: Atlanta Falcons at Miami Dolphins
August 18: Baltimore Ravens at Carolina Panthers
August 18: Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams
August 18: New York Jets at Green Bay Packers
August 18: Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
August 19: New York Giants at Cleveland Browns
August 19: San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Chargers
August 20: Jacksonville Jaguars at New Orleans Saints
August 24: Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets
August 25: New York Giants at New England Patriots

There’s really not a lot of correlation between conducting joint practice and being more or less prepared for the NFL season. But it’s still becoming a more-and-more popular form of practice.
The NFL only schedules exhibition games for the preseason, but there will only be three preseason games from this point forward. We may see joint practices become even more common in the years to come.
