Earlier this offseason, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers received some great news when Tom Brady announced his short-lived retirement was coming to an end.

Brady announced his retirement following a controversial series of reports suggested he would. However, just two months later, the seven-time Super Bowl champion announced he was coming back for another season.

Brady’s comeback has other retired players thinking about their NFL futures as well – kind of. Earlier this week, the NFL on CBS Twitter account published a video of former Baltimore Ravens star linebacker Ray Lewis making plays.

That prompted Lewis to have a simple message for his followers.

“Should I pull a Brady?” Lewis asked his fans.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2012 season. Sure, he’s joking about a potential return, but anyone who watched him play knows he was one of the most intense players in the game.

If he set his mind to it, he could probably do it. A two-time Super Bowl champion, Lewis is doing just as well off the field.

He’s had a successful media career following his wildly successful NFL career.

Should Lewis make a comeback?
