Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was trending this week following the news about Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield, who will reportedly be back as Browns quarterback in 2022, was trending after he called out a Cleveland reporter for a story she wrote.
Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot was trending for a story she wrote about the tension between Mayfield and his head coach, Kevin Stefanski.
Mayfield took to social media to call out the reporter for her story. Several other former Browns players backed up Mayfield on Twitter.
“Clickbait. You and many other Cleveland local media continue to be drama stirring reporters with no sources or facts. Don’t put words in my mouth so you can put food on your table. I’m not your puppet,” Mayfield tweeted.

Many were hoping that Manziel would follow suit and take to social media.
However, the ex-Browns quarterback appears to be interested in staying out of the spotlight – for now, anyway.

Manziel has made enough headlines over the years, he doesn’t appear to be interested in doing it again.
