Skip Bayless isn’t a stranger to making controversial comments on national television. On Wednesday, the FS1 personality made a few questionable remarks about Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy while on Undisputed.

When talking about McCarthy’s leadership skills, Bayless made a controversial remark about the veteran coach’s appearance.

“I’m not taking a shot at him with this, but he’s a little heavy,” Bayless said. “I wouldn’t want my head coach in the National Football League to not look the part at all.”

That comment didn’t sit well with Jenny Taft, who has been the moderator of Undisputed for several years. Instead of letting Bayless’ remarks go unchecked, Taft called him out.

“Is every one who’s a good coach as fit as you, Skip? I don’t think that’s a fair shot whatsoever,” Taft said. “I’ve actually had plenty of coaches that didn’t have the perfect physique, including my college coach, so I don’t think that’s a fair shot.”

Bayless tried to dismiss those comments, which then inspired yet another emphatic response from Taft.

“I’m allowed to have an opinion, Skip. I’m allowed to say whatever I want to say on this show, as you do too.”

Taft is receiving a lot of support on Twitter for calling out Bayless during this Wednesday’s show.

Even though he seemed defiant while on air, Bayless should strongly consider apologizing for the comments he made about McCarthy.

It’s going to be very interesting to see if the Undisputed crew can get back on the same page.
