Look: Fan Had Tom Brady Message For Phil Mickelson

In just a few weeks Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau will be back on the golf course in a very different setting than they’re used to.

Well, at least it’s different for DeChambeau. The two will face off in the third iteration of “The Match” which has seen Mickelson go against Tiger Woods in the past.

This time around, Phil will partner with NFL star quarterback Tom Brady as Bryson DeCheambeau pairs with reigning NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers. As The Match draws near, Mickelson is busy playing in the Travelers Championship this week.

While he was on the course this afternoon, a fan had a suggestion for Mickelson regarding his future playing partner. “Make sure Tom Brady fixes that slice before The Match, please,” the fan said to Mickelson.

Mickelson gave a slight chuckle and his customary thumbs up to the fan as he walked by.

Last year, Mickelson and Brady fell to Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning in their iteration of The Match. Three years ago, Mickelson took down Tiger in a thrilling tournament that needed four extra holes to determine a winner.

The event begins at 5 p.m. ET on July 6 from Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana. TNT will have the coverage.
