There doesn’t appear to be too much debate surrounding the top quarterback prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft class.

Clemson Tigers star Trevor Lawrence is believed to be the top player in the class, followed by Ohio State’s Justin Fields and North Dakota State’s Trey Lance.

Lawrence should go No. 1 overall next spring, while Fields and Lance are both candidates to go high in the first round, too.

However, one ESPN analyst has a pretty different top five list. He still has Lawrence at No. 1, but it gets pretty wild after that.

Andre Ware released his top five quarterbacks list during a game on Thursday night. He has BYU quarterback Zach Wilson at No. 2, Florida quarterback Kyle Trask at No. 3, Fields at No. 4 and Lance at No. 5.

That is quite bold.

Wilson is starting to impress a lot of people this fall, so much so that he’s rising on Heisman Trophy watch lists. Still, it’s pretty bold to rank him ahead of Justin Fields.

What’s even bolder is having Trask at No. 3. The Florida Gators quarterback is a really good player, but he probably is not in Fields’ class.

What quarterbacks would you take highly in the 2021 NFL Draft next spring?
