Look: Eagles TE Zach Ertz’s New Hairdo Is Going Viral

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz showed up to this year’s training camp in style. Seriously though, he was seen on the practice field this Wednesday with a new look.

Ertz, 30, is sporting blond hair for the start of training camp. This is a drastic change from what we’re accustomed to seeing from the veteran tight end.

The Eagles weren’t even sure if Ertz would be present for training camp because of countless trade rumors. Not only did he show up, he looks rejuvenated and ready to rock.

However, it’ll probably take time for the NFL world to get used to Ertz’s new hairdo.

Here’s a look at Ertz’s new hair:

Some fans tweeted that Ertz is “going through a Kyle Kuzma phase.” That’s because Kuzma dyes his hair blonde almost every season for the Los Angeles Lakers.

There are also a few fans referring to Ertz as Zack Morris from the classic TV show “Saved by the Bell.”

Ertz is on the final year of his contract with the Eagles. He has an $8.5 million base salary for the 2021 season.

Last season, Ertz was limited to 36 receptions for 335 yards and one touchdown. We’ll see if he can bounce back and return to his Pro Bowl form this fall.
