Dak Prescott continues to defy the odds, as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback returned to the practice field on Monday for the first time since suffering a compound fracture on his ankle in October.

After making his return to the practice field, Prescott went on Instagram to share an awesome message. He posted a photo of himself throwing a football with the caption “Dear Adversity, Thank you for the Opportunity!”

Countless people responded to Prescott’s picture on Instagram, including former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman. The Hall of Famer posted the following comment: “Lookin’ good pal!”

While he still has a few more hurdles to overcome before he can officially complete this comeback story, there’s no denying that Prescott continues to take steps in the right direction.

This past weekend, Prescott spoke to ESPN’s Sage Steele about his recovery process. The Pro Bowl quarterback admit that he thinks he can suit up in an NFL game today if he had to.

“I could go out there and be very successful, start the game, finish the game, and not even worry about the leg,” Prescott said.

Prescott is currently the odds-on favorite to win the Comeback Player of the Year award next season. He has +175 odds, which is significantly better than anyone else in the field.

Do you think Dak Prescott will return to his superstar form this fall?
