Look: Cordarrelle Patterson Announces Decision On His NFL Future
Cordarrelle Patterson had a breakout season in 2021, proving he’s one of the most versatile offensive players in the NFL. As a result, he entered this offseason as one of the top free agents on the open market.
On Saturday, Patterson revealed where he’ll be playing football next season. It turns out he’s re-signing with the Atlanta Falcons.
Patterson announced his return to Atlanta with an NSFW message on Twitter.

Right before Patterson posted this message on Twitter, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo announced that Atlanta was re-signing its “do-everything guy.”
The exact terms of Patterson’s contract aren’t out yet, but the Falcons have to be thrilled that he’s coming back for at least another season.
In his first season with the Falcons, Patterson had 618 rushing yards, 548 receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns. It was impressive to see what he can do as a running back. For the majority of his NFL career, he’s been utilized as just a wide receiver and punt returner.
Patterson will try to replicate that production this fall.
