Syracuse basketball star Buddy Boeheim appeared to take a cheap shot on Florida State guard Wyatt Wilkes during the first half of today’s ACC Tournament matchup.

ESPN’s broadcast clearly captured video of Boeheim, the son of Orange head coach Jim Boeheim, striking Wilkes in the chest with his fist as he ran back on defense. It’s unclear what kind of frustration led to this action.

Wilkes folded over in what looked like some serious pain after the shot.

Take a look at the play here:

Buddy Boeheim finished his fourth regular season with the program as the ACC’s leading scorer (19.3 points per game). He currently has eight points on 3-9 shooting from the field and 1-4 from behind the three-point line.

No. 9 seeded Syracuse currently lead No. 8 Florida State by 23 points at the half.
