Cardinals safety Budda Baker has a positive update on himself after he was involved in a scary collision during Monday night’s playoff game.

Baker posted on his Twitter very early Tuesday morning thanking everyone for their prayers and that he’s doing well.

Baker had to be stretchered off the field after he attempted to make a tackle on Rams running back Cam Akers. Akers lowered his helmet and hit Baker head-on and he ended up suffering a concussion.

He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation and was alert and communicative while he was there.

Baker had a great season with the Cardinals and finished with 98 total tackles (63 solo), two sacks, one fumble recovery, three interceptions, and seven passes defended.

He was also named to his fourth Pro Bowl this season due to how stellar he was.

Arizona’s season came to an end in a 34-11 blowout loss to L.A. The Cardinals were down 21-0 at halftime and couldn’t do much of anything in the second half as well.
