Look: Bill Belichick Is Wearing A New Ring This Year

With six Super Bowl titles as a head coach and several more as an assistant, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has plenty of rings that he can slip on his fingers. But a new ring he’s been seen wearing is gaining a lot of attention.

During last week’s preseason game against the Washington Football Team, some people noticed that Belichick had an iron band on his left ring finger. Dale Arnold of NESN openly wondered whether Belichick was wearing a wedding ring.

Belichick has been in a relationship with Linda Holliday for over a decade now. But there hasn’t been any big news that the two were close to tying the knot.

That hasn’t stopped the speculation from running wild though. Plenty of people weighed on what Belichick’s new ring actually means:

“Thank you!!! I thought I was the only one that was puzzled. Did he really put a ring on Linda!?” one fan asked.

“He’s married to cam (Newton),” wrote another.

“Did Bill Belichick get married in the off-season? Rocking a ring.” another fan wrote.

Belichick has been married before. He was married to Debby Clarke from 1977 until 2006 and has three children.

The Patriots head coach may be 69 years old, but it’s never too late to tie the knot.
