A look back at Iowa State women's basketball's wins over top-10 teams in the last decade

What a week for Iowa State women's basketball.

After knocking off AP No. 24 West Virginia at home on Wednesday, ISU (12-4, 5-0 Big 12) once again defended Hilton Coliseum by upsetting AP No. 4 Baylor on Saturday, 66-63.

Iowa State was led by Audi Crooks (23 points), who made an and-1 layup with 24.1 seconds remaining to give her team a one-point it would not relinquish.

The victory over Baylor (which is No. 7 in the coaches' poll) marked the 18th top-10 win in program history, all coming under 28-year head coach Bill Fennelly.

1/16/21: Iowa State 75, No. 6 Baylor 71

Ashley Joens tallied 14 of her 27 points in the fourth quarter to help end the Bears' 61-game winning streak at home. The Cyclones rebounded from squandering a 13-point lead to earn the win.

3/8/20: Iowa State 57, No. 2 Baylor 56

In the final game of the season before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, ISU advanced to the Big 12 Tournament championship game thanks to a pair of clutch free throws from Joens, who was fouled with one second left to play.

The win also snapped Baylor's 58-game conference winning streak, the 10th-longest in NCAA history at the time.

2/24/17: Iowa State 70, No. 6 Texas 66

Thanks to eight Cyclone 3-pointers and a clutch late-game rebound by Bridget Carleton, Iowa State earned its first road win over a top-6 team in program history.

The victory also marked the Cyclones' first four-game conference winning streak since 2013.

2/28/15: Iowa State 76, No. 3 Baylor 71

This tightly contested Senior Day game featured 15 lead changes and marked ISU's first win over Baylor since 2010.

The victory also made Iowa State the country's lone team with two top-3 wins that season.

1/25/15: Iowa State 58, No. 8 Texas 57

A pair of clutch free throws by Nikki Moody with 17.5 seconds remaining gave the Cyclones their highest-ranked road win in program history at the time, while also sweeping the season series with the Longhorns for the second time in three years.

1/10/15: Iowa State 59, No. 3 Texas 57

Despite trailing by as much as 18 points, Seanna Johnson converted the go-ahead score with 17 seconds remaining to hand Texas its first loss of that season.

Before Johnson's deciding score, ISU was held without a made field goal for nearly seven minutes.
