Look: Anna Kournikova’s Top Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photos

Longtime tennis star Anna Kournikova is one of several notable athletes or sports figures to pose for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Many notable athletes, from Danica Patrick to Alex Morgan to Ronda Rousey, have posed for the legendary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Kournikova, who starred on the tennis court in the 1990s and 2000s, joined the list back in 2004.

Kournikova was near the peak of her fame when she posed in 2004. She was coming off some strong runs in Grand Slam tournaments.

The Russia native made it to the semifinals at Wimbledon in 1997 and the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2001.

Kournikova is one of several notable tennis stars to be featured in the iconic magazine edition. Other tennis stars like Serena Williams, Sloane Stephens and Genie Bouchard have also been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
