New London Community Club adult Easter egg hunt draws 150 people to find 2,500 eggs

The New London Community Club hosted an adult Easter egg hunt April 7 at New London Recreation Park.

The event brought in more than 150 people and gave away 150 prizes hidden in more than 2,500 eggs.

Dinah Freeman won the grand prize of $500 sponsored by the Laurels of New London.

New London FFA members stuffed all of the eggs.

More than 30 senior citizens were able to hunt in their area (the newly renovated tennis courts) and outside of their area if able.

The eggs were hidden throughout the park. Live music provided by Aiden Aubaugh, and food trucks were from Chewys Mexican, West Clarksfield Smokers and the New London Parks staple, Park Place.

The funds collected will go toward New London's Hometown Holidays and WhoLondon celebrations that last year brought in over 3,000 people.
