Loki drops new season 2 trailer ahead of releaseDisney+

Loki season 2 is just over a month away, and Disney+ has just dropped a new trailer.

The trailer shows that, following the events of the season 1 finale and the breaking of the sacred timeline, things have got pretty messed up.

We see Loki himself explaining that he is "time slipping", which means he is being pulled back and forth through time, suggesting that we might get a peek into the (or at least, a) future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It also seems like his time-travelling might be involuntary and random, as Loki comes across as pretty annoyed at having to explain what's happening to him, again.

Elsewhere, we see returning characters Mobius, Hunter B-15, and Sylvie, to name a few, while we also get a few more glimpses of Everything Everywhere All at Once's Ke Huy Quan's character.

Owen Wilson recently spoke about how happy he was to be back, while teasing a bit of what we can expect for his character in season 2, stating: "I thought I would have a good time but I really enjoyed it.

"I've been lucky working on a million movies and always having a good time but on that one, I had a really great time and that continued on season 2. Maybe even moreso because we were filming in London and being there at Pinewood, but yeah, [his story] just goes deeper."

Just last week, Marvel Studios and The Walt Disney Company delayed a load of their upcoming streaming shows, some that have been filmed and others that are on pause due to the strike.

Loki is not one of them, sticking to its previously announced release date.

Loki season 2 will come to Disney+ on October 6.
