Local musician Haley Bundy's heading for Nashville, but plans one more show in Zanesville

If you've somehow missed the opportunity to see Haley Bundy perform over the last few years in Guernsey County, this is your last chance. The talented young artist will be bringing her light, melodic voice to The Barn in Zanesville for her final Ohio show, as she prepares to move off to and chase her dreams in Nashville.

The Cambridge native has been performing for years in Guernsey County and surrounding areas. The show is scheduled to run from 6 to 10 p.m. Jan. 6. For more information call 740-455-2276. The Barn is at 1947 Linden Ave., Zanesville.

Musical at Weathervane

The Weathervane Playhouse is giving you the chance to get a front-row seat to see a Christmas movie classic brought to life on stage. Follow along with a performance of "Elf," as Buddy Hobbs, a young orphan child, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Buddy then heads to New York to win over his birth family and help the city remember the true meaning of Christmas. The show is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Friday. New Year’s Eve Celebration

The annual Salt Fork Lodge New Year’s Eve Party has fun for the whole family. This year the theme is A Night in Hollywood and red carpet dress is encouraged. You can expect token-operated arcade games on all levels of the lodge and live music throughout the weekend. A movie will be shown from 9 to 11:59 p.m. or you can watch the ball drop and have a champagne toast at midnight. A cider toast will also be available. Party at the Tiki

A local favorite, Backbone, will be performing at 9 p.m. at the Southgate Hotel Tiki Lounge for New Year's Eve. There is a $10 cover charge per person, and guests must be 21 or over. Pork and sauerkraut will be served at midnight. Southgate Hotel and Tiki Lounge is located at 2248 Southgate Parkway, Cambridge.

Live music

A little post-Christmas jam session is always enjoyable. Head down to Georgetown Vineyards to hear the vocal stylings of Ethan Timm as he performs from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 4.
