Local historian Rick Booth will speak at Southeastern Ohio Civil War Roundtable

CAMBRIDGE — Local historian and author Rick Booth will speak at the February meeting of the Southeastern Ohio Civil War Roundtable. Booth's topic will be the Cambridge Civil War Murder Case of John B. Cook, a case that had implications beyond Cambridge and Ohio. The meeting will be held at 6:30 Thursday at the Ninth Street Methodist Church in Cambridge.

CAMBRIDGE — The Cambridge-Guernsey County Health Department Board of Health will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the offices of the Cambridge-Guernsey County Health Department.

DENNISON — The Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association will hold its executive board meeting at noon Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the Dennison Depot Streetside Center, 416 Center Street. Coshocton's own Miss Ohio Madison Miller will serve as the keynote speaker. Miller's presentation topic will be Creating Community.

CAMBRIDGE — There will be a meeting of the Guernsey County Port Authority at 9 a..m. Wednesday in the CIC conference room, 9900 Brick Church Road, Suite 2.
