Ladies and gentlemen, the party that is the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards can officially get started now because the one and only Lizzo has officially hit the red carpet and she Served! Lewks! in a mesmerizing Jean Paul Gaultier gown.

You just have to see it for yourself:

But if there’s one thing Lizzo is, it’s consistent, because this pop princess has regularly made all eyes fall on her whenever she hits a red carpet. Like, just three years ago at the 2019 VMAs, she quite literally made everyone stop and stare with this red hot ensemble:

Lucky for us, we’ll be seeing a ton of Lizzo tonight. Not only is she up for four awards—including the coveted Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for the empowerment anthem “About Damn Time”—but she is also slated to take the stage tonight to perform some of her most recent hits from her latest album Special!

The last time Lizzo hit the VMAs stage was back in 2019 (seriously, it was a really good year for her), and she performed the hell out of her bangers “Good As Hell” and “Truth Hurts.” The show was truly a sight to behold—I mean, she did have everyone from Queen Latifah to Lance Bass to Bella Hadid on their feet. Just watch the show for yourself to relive all its glory, and hopefully, it’ll hold you over until her performance later tonight. Thank me later!
