Guzman kicks GT to win

Aaron Guzman calmly booted a 24-yard field goal with 4 seconds left on the clock as Georgetown clinched the 2nd seed out of district 11-5A as the Eagles nipped Glenn 44-41.

College Station claimed the top seed as the Cougars dumped A&M Consolidated 49-42.

Midway leads Weiss early

In a game that started late due to inclement weather, Midway leads Weiss 14-7 in the first quarter.

Cedar Park finished off Leander 49-7. Ayden Arp finished with 271 yards passing while Trae Hill added 219 yards rushing.

Cedar Park has earned its playoff berth.

Lake Travis leads Austin High 62-7 with 8:19 left in the fourth.

Holubec springs loose after reception

Cody Holubec turned a short pass from Noah Booras into a long TD reception as he juked a pair of Glenn defenders en route to a 63-yard TD reception. The Eagles now lead Glenn 41-34 with just over 6 minutes remaining.

Vandegrift shut out Vista Ridge 45-0.

Grizzlies even it up

With 6:35 remaining in the final quarter, Glenn has rallied from a 14-point deficit to tie Georgetown at 34.

Vandegrift has finished off its 45-0 win over Vista Ridge.

Batts' 51-yard punt return puts Maroons on scoreboard

Bryson Batts has scored on a 51-yard punt return to give Austin High its first TD of the night. Lake Travis leads 52-7 after Noah Hopkins hits Luke Benigni on a 74-yard pass.

Miles Coleman has scored his second TD of the night as the North Texas commit hauls in a 38-yard strike as the Vipers lead Vista Ridge 38-0 early in the fourth.

Booras to Holubec accounts for 6

Georgetown has responded to the Glenn field goal with a 75-yard scoring drive that was capped off by a Noah Booras to Cody Holubec 20-yard scoring pass.

The Eagles now lead 28-20 with just over a minute left in the 3rd.

Cedar Park has scored its 3rd TD in the 3rd as the T-Wolves now lead Leander 42-0.

San Marcos has dented the scoreboard but the Rattlers still trail New Braunfels 35-7 in the 3rd.

East View leads Hendrickson 25-7 in the 3rd.

Grizzlies edge closer

The second 25-yard field goal from Armando Don Juan has pulled Glenn to within 1 of Georgetown, 21-20 late in the 3rd.

Cedar Park has expanded its lead to 35-0 over Leander in the third.

Taylor is doubling up Canyon Lake 42-21 at half.

Vandy ups lead to 24-0

Vandegrift has scored to take a 24-0 lead over Vista Ridge midway through the third.

Andrew Petter account for all 64 yards on the Eagles opening drive score as Georgetown has taken its first lead over Glenn 21-17 with early in the 3rd quarter.

Cedar Park scored on the opening drive of the second half as the T-Wolves lead Leander 28-0.

The Vipers scored on a field goal on the last play as Vandegrift leads Vista Ridge 17-0 leads at half.

Per the Statesman's Rick Cantu, Vipers have outgained the Rangers 234 yards to 21.

A pair of TDs, a Grady Bartlett 3-yard run and a Rees Wise to Heath McRee 40-yard connection has given Westlake a 35-0 lead over Bowie in the second.

Lake Travis is dominating Austin High, leading 31-0 midway through the second quarter.

LBJ leads Eastside 34-0 at the end of one.

Blanco on cruise control

Blanco is cruising past Ingram Moore as the Panthers lead 40-7 in the 2nd quarter.

La Grange trails Gonzales 21-14 in the second.

Round Rock is dominating Cedar Ridge 34-0 in the second while McNeil leads Stony Point 9-7 in the second quarter.

Kayser does it again

Jack Kayser's second TD run covered 35 yards as Westlake leads Bowie 21-0 in the opening quarter.

After being held to 6 points in last week's loss to Dripping Springs, Lake Travis has erupted for 28 first quarter points as the Cavs lead Austin High 28-0.

In another 26-6A tilt, Johnson is shutting out Akins 35-0 in the second quarter.

Kayser hits paydirt

Jack Kayser turned on the jets on a 58-yard TD run as Westlake expands its lead to 15-0 in the opening quarter over Bowie.

After passing for a pair of scores, Lake Travis' Chaston Ditta added a 7-yard scoring jaunt as Lake Travis leads Austin High 21-0 with 3:44 remaining in the first.

Trae Hill scored his second long TD of the night, this one a 51-yarder, to give Cedar Park a 14-0 lead over Leander in the second.

Noah Booras hits Cody Holubec for a score as Georgetown has evened the score with Glenn 14-14 late in the first half.

Wise calls own number as Westlake leads

Rees Wise capped off the opening drive for Westlake with a 10-yard run as the Chaps lead Bowie 7-0 in the first.

At Birkelbach Field, Andrew Petter's 10-yard run has allowed Georgetown to narrow the Glenn lead to 14-7 with 8:35 left before half.

Cavs' TD pass gives LT lead

Chaston Ditta hit Josiah Thomas with a 3-yard pass to give Lake Travis a 7-0 lead over Austin High a 7-0 lead with 8:28 left in the first.

Vandegrift leads Vista Ridge 14-0 with 2:42 remaining in the opening quarter.

Dugar 38-yard cutback run doubles Glenn lead

Glenn's DJ Dugar has given the Grizzlies a 14-0 lead over host Georgetown as he went back against the grain on a 3rd-and-4.

Turnovers aplenty in Leander-Cedar Park game

Per Colby Gordon, Cedar Park and Leander have combined for 4 turnovers in the first quarter. Cedar Park lieads 7-0 in the 2nd stanza.

Warriors looking for a playoff spot

After last night’s 28-21 win over Manor to run its season record to 7-2, the Warriors have still not locked up a playoff spot out of 25-6A.

If Westwood knocks off undefeated Vandegrift, the Warriors playoff berth will be locked, but a loss next week will put the spot in jeopardy.

Manor fell to 4-5 on the season, 2-4 in district contests.

Panthers upset #1 5A Rouse

Three 5A games highlighted the Thursday night schedule and in the stunner of the night, Pflugerville knocked off the #1 5A team in the Statesman’s rankings, Rouse by a 29-22 score.

The win upped the Panthers to 2-7, 2-3 in district, while Raiders dropped to 6-3, 3-2 in district play as they jockey for the postseason position.

McCallum bested Travis 35-24 to improve to 6-3 overall and 5-1 in the district, while the Rebels fell t0 5-4, 3-3 in district play.

For the first time since 1986-1987, Crockett will post back-to-back winning seasons as the Cougars shutout Northeast 45-0. Crockett is now 6-3 for the year, 5-1 in district play while Northeast is 1-8, 1-5 in league play.

Westlake, Vandegrift, Weiss and Wimberley remain unblemished
